Job summary

Desire Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Jaipur seeks a Quality Head to steer QC, QA, and HSE across water infrastructure EPC projects. The role requires strong leadership, site-quality mastery, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will define QMS, conduct audits, manage NCRs, drive safety initiatives, mentor teams, and ensure compliance with drawings, standards, and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of relevant experience in QA/QC and Health & Safety.
• Strong team leadership and manpower planning experience.
• Hands-on project/site experience in water infrastructure EPC.
• Knowledge of QMS, ITP, NCR, CAPA, audits, testing procedures.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Engineering degree/diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• QA/QC/HSE certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA/QC and HSE teams, including planning and mentoring.
• Develop and implement Quality Management Systems, QPs, ITPs, SOPs and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, codes and project standards.
• Monitor execution through inspections, audits, testing, documentation and reviews.
• Identify deviations and manage NCRs, CAPA, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Oversee material inspection, testing, documentation, calibration and records.
• Lead Health & Safety initiatives, site safety audits and incident reporting.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Procurement, O&M, Contractors and Clients.
• Conduct internal/external QA/HSE audits and close observations timely.
• Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement across sites.
• Provide technical and managerial guidance to project teams.

Quality Head – Quality Control, Quality Assurance & Health & Safety

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Quality Head to lead and manage Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), and Health & Safety (HSE) functions across our water infrastructure and EPC projects. The candidate should have strong team-handling and leadership exposure, excellent project/site quality experience, and the ability to drive quality and safety standards across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA/QC and HSE teams, including manpower planning, work allocation, performance monitoring, mentoring, and team development.
• Develop and implement Quality Management Systems, Quality Plans, ITPs, SOPs, inspection procedures, and quality standards.
• Ensure quality compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, applicable codes, and project standards.
• Monitor project execution through regular quality inspections, audits, testing, documentation, and compliance reviews.
• Identify quality deviations and manage NCRs, root-cause analysis, CAPA, rework, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure proper material inspection, testing, quality documentation, calibration, and inspection records.
• Lead Health & Safety initiatives, including risk assessments, safety audits, site inspections, PPE compliance, toolbox talks, incident reporting, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Procurement, O&M, Contractors, Consultants, Clients, and Third-Party Agencies on quality and safety matters.
• Conduct internal and external quality/HSE audits and ensure timely closure of observations and non-conformities.
• Establish quality and safety KPIs, monitor performance, identify recurring issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical and managerial guidance to project teams and ensure consistent quality and safety standards across project sites.
• Prepare and present quality/HSE reports and key project observations to Senior Management.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–15 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Health & Safety.
• Strong experience in team handling, leadership, manpower planning, delegation, and performance management.
• Hands-on experience in Water Infrastructure, Water & Wastewater, STP/ETP, Sewerage, Pipeline, EPC, or Civil Infrastructure projects will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of QMS, ITP, Method Statements, NCR, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, audits, inspection, and testing procedures.
• Good understanding of project/site safety practices and HSE compliance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Office.
• Engineering degree/diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant discipline; QA/QC/HSE certifications will be an advantage.

Site Travel Requirement

• Regular travel to project sites will be required based on project requirements.
• Candidate should be willing to travel to various project locations across Rajasthan and other locations in India, as required.
• Regular site visits will be required for quality inspections, audits, team support, safety reviews, and project compliance.
