Job description

Direct Reports: Finance Associate, HR & Admin Associate

Maker Bhavan Foundation (MBF) is a non-profit organization transforming engineering education across India by shifting learning from theoretical instruction to hands-on, active problem-solving. Founded by visionary tech alumni, entrepreneurs, and academicians, MBF equips academic institutions with the tools, funding, and expertise needed to cultivate future-ready innovators and engineers. Through its flagship Tinkerers' Labs (24/7 student-led makerspaces), MBF gives students direct access to rapid prototyping technology. Its high-impact initiatives, such as the InventX summer invention internship, the Vishwakarma Awards, and the Center for Essential Skills, foster both technical ingenuity and professional readiness. Collaborating directly with governing bodies like AICTE on Project PRACTICE, MBF works to integrate project-based learning into Tier-II and Tier-III colleges. Driven by a vision to embed a vibrant maker culture into higher education, Maker Bhavan Foundation aims to expand to 100s of engineering colleges by 2030, directly empowering 10% of India's graduating engineers each year to translate bold ideas into real-world technological solutions.
