Weekday AI (YC W21) in Mumbai invites an experienced Head of Data Analytics to shape the company’s data and analytics agenda, with a strong emphasis on financial data, BI, and data products.

You will lead scalable analytics capabilities, build high-performing teams, and partner with Finance leadership to translate complex requirements into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and business performance.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or financial analytics with leadership.
• Strong expertise in Power BI data modeling, DAX, and reporting architecture.
• Proven ability to translate financial requirements into scalable analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the data and analytics strategy aligned with business and financial goals.
• Lead the design and development of Power BI dashboards and executive analytics.
• Build financial models for forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning and profitability.
• Develop finance data products providing reliable insights to stakeholders.
• Partner with Finance leadership to translate requirements into analytics solutions.
• Establish data governance, quality, and reporting standards across the organization.
• Track revenue, costs, margins, cash flow, and other key metrics.

We are looking for an experienced and strategicHead of Data Analyticsto lead the organizations data and analytics agenda, with a strong focus onfinancial data, business intelligence, financial modeling, and finance data products.

The role will be responsible for transforming complex financial and business data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and technical expertise with commercial and financial acumen, while building scalable analytics capabilities and high-performing data teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the organizationsdata and analytics strategyin alignment with business and financial objectives.
• Lead the design and development ofPower BI dashboards, reporting solutions, and executive-level analytics.
• Build and enhance financial models supportingforecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, profitability, and business performance analysis.

• 14+ years of experiencein data analytics, business intelligence, financial analytics, or related fields, with significant leadership experience.
• Strong expertise inPower BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, reporting, and analytics architecture.
• Proven experience developingfinancial modelsfor forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis, profitability, and strategic planning.
• Strong understanding offinance data productsand the ability to convert financial requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
• Excellent understanding of financial metrics, accounting concepts, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, budgeting, and management reporting.
• Experience working closely withCFOs, Finance leaders, business heads, and senior executives.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data integration, governance, data quality, and analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated experience leading data and analytics teams and managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to measurable commercial and financial outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
