Position Title: Head Integrated Risk Management
Reporting To: Group Chief Risk Officer (GCRO)
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 15+ Years in Banking/NBFC Risk Management
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Risk Oversight:
- – Act as a strategic advisor to the GCRO, providing a consolidated view of risk across Credit, Market, and Operational domains.
- – Design and implement Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks tailored for a high-growth, digital-first financial ecosystem.
- – Ensure alignment of risk appetite with the groups aggressive business expansion goals.
2. Risk Technology & Digital Transformation:
- – Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) and automated decisioning engines.
- – Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to integrate AI/ML models into real-time credit underwriting and fraud detection.
- – Drive the transition from manual, periodic reporting to real-time, data-driven risk monitoring dashboards.
3. Regulatory & Compliance Leadership:
- – Ensure the group remains ahead of RBIs Scale Based Regulations (SBR) and evolving global standards like Basel III/IV.
- – Manage high-level interactions with regulatory bodies, internal audit committees, and external stakeholders.
- – Standardize risk reporting formats for Board-level presentations and regulatory submissions.
4. Cross-Functional Risk Management:
- – Oversee Operational Risk frameworks, focusing on cybersecurity, third-party risk, and business continuity in a tech-heavy environment.
- – Review and validate internal credit rating models and stress testing methodologies.
Candidate Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- – Qualifications: MBA from a Tier-1 institute, CA, or professional certifications like FRM (GARP) / PRM.
- – Tenure: Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a large Private Sector Bank, Foreign Bank, or top-tier NBFC.
- – Tech Expertise: Proven experience in leading “Tech-for-Risk” initiatives (e.g., implementing LOS/LMS systems, automated risk scoring, or data lake integrations).
