Job summary

Nicfurniture Bank seeks a senior business and operations leader to drive growth and strategic development of its transactional banking offering across cash management, trade finance, payments, collections, liquidity solutions and related corporate banking services.

The successful candidate will combine strong transaction banking expertise with commercial leadership, capable of building high-performing teams and strong relationships with corporate clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related field required.
• CFA/ACCA/CIBN/Chartered Banker or related certifications advantageous.
• Trade Finance or Transaction Banking certifications advantageous.
• 10–15 years' banking experience in Corporate/Transaction Banking or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years' senior management experience leading teams or departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the overall Global Transactional Services (GTS) strategy.
• Develop and grow the transaction banking business for revenue and market share.
• Oversee and enhance solutions across trade finance, cash management, payments and liquidity.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate and commercial clients and stakeholders.

Job description

This is a senior business and operations leadership role, responsible for driving the growth, performance and strategic development of the Bank's transactional banking offering across cash management, trade finance, payments, collections, liquidity solutions and related corporate banking services.

The successful candidate will combine strong transaction banking expertise with commercial leadership, strategic execution and the ability to build high-performing teams and strong relationships with corporate and institutional clients

Key Focus Areas:

• Lead and drive the overall Global Transactional Services (GTS) strategy, ensuring alignment with the Bank's broader corporate and commercial banking objectives.
• Develop and grow the transaction banking business, identifying opportunities to increase revenue, profitability, market share and client penetration.
• Oversee and enhance solutions across trade finance, cash management, payments, collections, liquidity and related transactional banking services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate and commercial clients and other strategic stakeholders.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Additional professional qualifications or certifications would be advantageous, including:
• CFA
• ACCA
• CIBN
• Chartered Banker
• Trade Finance or Transaction Banking certifications
• Relevant postgraduate or executive qualifications

• 10–15 years' banking experience, preferably within Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, Treasury, Trade Finance, Cash Management or Relationship Management.
• At least 5–7 years' direct experience in Transaction Banking / Global Transactional Services.
• Minimum 5 years' senior management experience, leading teams, business units or departments.
• Demonstrated experience managing:
