Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in Pune invites applications for Head of Fund Accounting, overseeing end-to-end accounting for PMS and AIF schemes and leading a Manager and Analyst team. The role reports to the CFO.

The position requires Chartered Accountant status and hands-on Big 4 experience, with AIF environment exposure. CFA or MBA in Finance is an advantage. You will drive NAV computations, statements, audits and system automation.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant mandatory.
• Big 4 experience mandatory (articleship and/or post-qualification).
• AIF environment experience is required; CFA or MBA (Finance) is a plus, not a substitute.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end fund accounting for PMS and AIF schemes across Category I-III structures.
• Review and sign off NAV computation, unit capital, expense accruals, income recognition and distributions.
• Review and finalize scheme financial statements against applicable accounting standards and SEBI reporting requirements.
• Design and enforce the financial control framework – maker-checker, reconciliations and review discipline.
• Own the statutory and internal audit cycle for all schemes; liaise with statutory auditors, custodians, fund accountants, registrars, trustees and tax advisors.
• Lead selection, implementation and optimization of fund accounting systems; automate NAV packs, reconciliations and reporting.
• Build, supervise, train and review the fund accounting team.

An alternatives (AIF and PMS) investment management business is hiring a Head of Fund Accounting, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and leading a team at Manager and Analyst level.
