Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Ahmedabad (Gift City) seeks a seasoned Head of Finance & Corporate Strategy to drive strategic financial planning, capital structuring, and investor relations, reporting to the CEO and Board.

The role requires a hands-on leader with deep experience in IT/ITeS/KPO sectors, capital raising, due diligence, and governance, capable of guiding growth-stage initiatives with discretion.

Qualifications

• CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute; CFA is a plus.
• 1015 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a strategic/corporate finance role.
• Experience in IT, ITeS, KPO, or BPM sectors strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in capital raising (private equity, venture debt, structured finance) and/or M&A due diligence is highly desirable.
• Exposure to public listing processes, investor relations, or regulatory filings will be an added advantage.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and long-range strategic forecasting
• Structure and evaluate capital requirements across debt and equity options
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors
• Lead financial due diligence, valuation exercises, and data room preparation as needed
• Support leadership with board-level financial presentations and strategic decks
• Evaluate inorganic growth opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances
• Ensure financial readiness and governance standards aligned with growth-stage/listed-company benchmarks
• Drive treasury management, working capital optimization, and cash flow planning
