Job summary

Vesat India is seeking a Head Costing to establish, monitor, and optimize product and manufacturing cost structures. You will provide costing insights to support pricing, profitability, procurement, production budgets, and new product development.

Work closely with Finance, Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing, and Senior Management to protect margins and drive cost efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• ICWA/CMA with 15-22 years FMCG/FOOD experience.
• Strong costing, budgeting and variance analysis skills.
• ERP and BI tooling familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of product-wise and SKU-wise costing.
• Prepare detailed standard and actual cost sheets for all products.
• Support pricing and margin analysis with cost insights.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales and R&D to improve cost efficiency.

Role & responsibilities

The Head Costing will be responsible for establishing, monitoring, and optimizing the company's product and manufacturing cost structure. The role will provide accurate and timely costing insights to support pricing, profitability, procurement, production, budgeting, business decisions, and new product development.

The position will work closely with Finance, Procurement, R&D/NPD, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Senior Management to improve cost efficiency and protect product margins.

Product Costing

• Lead the development and maintenance of product-wise and SKU-wise costing.
• Prepare detailed standard and actual cost sheets for all products.
• Calculate costs covering:
  
• Raw materials
• Packaging materials
• Direct labour
• Manufacturing overheads

Pricing & Margin Analysis

• Support management in determining product pricing and margin structures.
