Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. places a senior leader in a listed NBFC's CFO’s office (-one) with board-level visibility. The role blends an inorganic agenda with an investor-facing narrative and demands a track record in corporate finance, M&A and IR.

The incumbent will drive the inorganic agenda, own the earnings cycle, prepare the CFO/MD for calls, and lead a small team across corporate finance and IR, including capital structure and fundraising strategy, with relocation to Pune.

Qualifications

• Lead or co-led deal sheet of three or more transactions.
• Ownership of the earnings cycle at a listed company.
• Relocation to Pune with full relocation support.
• 8+ years in corporate finance, M&A or investor relations.

Responsibilities

• Own the inorganic agenda end to end: M&A, private equity, demerger, divestment, restructuring, joint ventures and strategic investments.
• Set the target screening framework and maintain a live pipeline across lending, housing and allied businesses.
• Own the full quarterly earnings cycle - investor presentation, press release, financial supplement, guidance framing and consensus bridges.
• Prepare and support the CFO and MD for earnings calls; handle investor and analyst questions directly.
• Build and lead a small, high-calibre team across corporate finance and IR.
• Act as a trusted second voice to the CFO on capital structure, fundraise strategy and shareholder matters.

A listed NBFC is hiring a senior leader for the CFO's office, at CFO-minus-one, with board and promoter-level visibility. The seat combines the inorganic agenda and the investor-facing narrative.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the inorganic agenda end to end: M&A, private equity, demerger, divestment, restructuring, joint ventures and strategic investments
• Set the target screening framework and maintain a live pipeline across lending, housing and allied businesses
• Own the full quarterly earnings cycle - investor presentation, press release, financial supplement, guidance framing and consensus bridges
• Prepare and support the CFO and MD for earnings calls; handle investor and analyst questions directly
• Build and lead a small, high-calibre team across corporate finance and IR
• Act as a trusted second voice to the CFO on capital structure, fundraise strategy and shareholder matters.

Must have:

• A personal, verifiable deal sheet of three or more transactions led or co-led, OR ownership of the earnings cycle at a listed company.
• Relocation to Pune with family is required; full relocation support is provided.
• CA, MBA (Finance) from a Tier 1 institute, or CFA.
• Combinations preferred. Minimum 8 years specifically in corporate finance, M&A or investor relations.
