Job summary

Listed NBFC is seeking a senior leader for the CFO's office with board and promoter-level visibility, responsible for the inorganic agenda and investor-facing narrative. The role requires relocation to Pune with family, and a proven record in corporate finance, M&A or investor relations.

Key deliverables include leading end-to-end M&A activities, earnings-cycle management, and direct engagement with investors and analysts, while building a high-caliber team across corporate finance and IR.

Qualifications

• Must have a verifiable deal sheet of three or more transactions led or co-led, or ownership of the earnings cycle at a listed company.
• Relocation to Pune with family is required; full relocation support is provided.
• CA, MBA (Finance) from a Tier 1 institute, or CFA.
• Minimum 8 years specifically in corporate finance, M&A or investor relations.

Responsibilities

• Own the inorganic agenda end to end: M&A, private equity, demerger, divestment, restructuring, joint ventures and strategic investments.
• Set the target screening framework and maintain a live pipeline across lending, housing and allied businesses.
• Own the full quarterly earnings cycle - investor presentation, press release, financial supplement, guidance framing and consensus bridges.
• Prepare and support the CFO and MD for earnings calls; handle investor and analyst questions directly.
• Build and lead a small, high-calibre team across corporate finance and IR.
• Act as a trusted second voice to the CFO on capital structure, fundraise strategy and shareholder matters.
