Rajasthan Patrika Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Head – Circulation Survey to lead large-scale circulation surveys and market assessments across Rajasthan, providing accurate market intelligence to support growth and strategic decisions.

You will manage field teams, coordinate with agencies, and deliver MIS reports while travelling across territories to validate data and identify expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in circulation/market research or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage circulation surveys across Rajasthan.
• Conduct market-wise assessment of newspaper circulation, distribution and market penetration.
• Map and evaluate distributors, dealers, agents, hawkers and retail networks.
• Conduct field surveys to verify circulation figures and identify gaps or discrepancies.
• Analyse competitor circulation, distribution strength and market presence.
• Identify new markets, untapped areas and opportunities for circulation expansion.
• Prepare detailed city, district and state-level circulation reports and MIS.
• Monitor circulation trends and provide regular insights to senior management.
• Manage and guide field survey teams and coordinate with external survey agencies, wherever required.
• Establish strong processes for data validation, accuracy and quality control.
• Work closely with Circulation, Sales and Regional teams to validate field findings and support corrective actions.
• Provide data-driven inputs for circulation planning, market expansion and distribution strategy.
• Travel extensively across the assigned territories to conduct and monitor surveys.

We are looking for an experienced Head – Circulation Survey to lead circulation survey and market assessment activities across Rajasthan. The role will be responsible for providing accurate market intelligence on newspaper circulation, distribution networks, market penetration and competitor presence to support circulation growth and business decisions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 12+ years of overall experience, preferably in the newspaper/media industry.
• Strong hands-on experience in circulation surveys, circulation audits, market surveys or distribution research.
• Good understanding of the newspaper circulation and distribution ecosystem.
• Experience handling large geographical territories or multi-state operations.
• Strong knowledge of Rajasthan will be preferred.
• Experience in managing field teams and large-scale survey operations.
• Strong analytical and MIS skills with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to independently analyse circulation data and present findings to senior management.
• Strong understanding of dealer, distributor, agent and hawker networks.
• Willingness to undertake extensive travel across Rajasthan.
• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
