i-TEK RFID is seeking an experienced Head of Business Analysis to lead the BA function, setting standards, governance, and guiding complex ERP, RFID, and integrations initiatives.

You will lead a team of Business Analysts, liaison with product, business, and engineering stakeholders, and own end-to-end requirements, solution designs, and UAT across strategic engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/BA; MBA preferred.
• 15–20 years as a Business Analyst, including 4–5 years in leadership.
• Proven ability to manage complex customer engagements end-to-end.
• Strong ERP/RFID/IoT domain exposure.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Business Analysis to lead and scale the Business Analysis function at i-TEK RFID. In this role, you will own the BA practice end-to-end — setting standards, methodology, and governance — while personally engaging in the most complex, high-value customer and product engagements. You will lead a team of Business Analysts, act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, product, and technical teams, and ensure requirements gathering, solutioning, and stakeholder management are executed to a consistently high standard across all projects. Your experience with ERP systems, system integrations, RFID/embedded product implementations, and large-scale project delivery will be essential in shaping how the organization approaches business analysis, driving both team capability and customer satisfaction at scale. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and executive presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands‑on involvement in critical engagements.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a team of Business Analysts, establishing career paths, skill development plans, and performance standards.
• Define and institutionalize the organization's Business Analysis methodology, tools, templates, and documentation standards.
• Own resource planning and allocation of BAs across concurrent projects based on complexity, priority, and skill fit.
• Establish quality benchmarks and review mechanisms for requirements documentation, functional specifications, and solution designs produced across the team.

Business Analysis & Solution Design

• Personally lead requirements gathering and solution design for the most strategic, complex, or high-value customer engagements.
• Oversee translation of business needs into clear functional and technical documentation, including workflows, use cases, and integration specifications, across all active projects.
• Drive solution gap analysis and recommendations aligned with business objectives, particularly in ERP and RFID/embedded product environments.
• Own definition of project scope, objectives, and deliverables at a portfolio level, in partnership with Program/Product Management.

Stakeholder & Executive Management

• Serve as the senior-most BA point of contact for key client and internal executive stakeholders.
• Facilitate executive-level discussions, manage expectations, and secure sign-offs on requirements and deliverables for major engagements.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Product Management, and technical/engineering teams to ensure alignment across the organization.
• Represent the Business Analysis function in leadership reviews, client escalations, and strategic planning discussions.

Product Rollout & Customer Engagement

• Oversee and guide product rollouts across the team, ensuring consistent quality in customer onboarding, training, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Personally lead rollout and go-live activities for flagship or high-risk customer engagements.
• Ensure smooth go-lives and effective post-implementation support across the BA team's portfolio of projects.

Process Improvement & Governance

• Drive continuous improvement of business analysis processes, tools, and methodologies across the organization.
• Establish governance mechanisms to track BA effectiveness, project outcomes, and customer satisfaction linked to BA deliverables.
• Champion best practices in requirements management, aligning with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models as applicable.

Technical Acumen

• Maintain strong working knowledge of system designs, integrations, and data flows relevant to i-TEK RFID's product and ERP landscape.
• Guide the team on system integrations, data mapping, and UAT planning/execution for complex, multi-system projects.
• Stay current on RFID, embedded systems, and IoT-related integration patterns relevant to i-TEK's product portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 15–20 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst, including at least 4–5 years in a BA leadership or practice-head role.
• Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of Business Analysts across concurrent projects.
• Strong track record managing complex customer engagements independently and delivering end-to-end solutions.
• Solid understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar); RFID/embedded/IoT domain exposure strongly preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with system integrations, APIs, and middleware solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies, with experience establishing BA practices/governance.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on involvement in critical engagements.
• Strong people leadership skills with a collaborative, mentoring mindset.
