The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in analytics, deep experience in BFSI domains, and a proven ability to build and scale analytics teams. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity headquartered in India.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science or related functions.
• Experience in Indian Financial Services organisations (Banking, NBFC, Fintech, etc).
• Proven leadership of a sizeable Analytics/Data Science function.
• Strong understanding of Advanced Analytics, Predictive Modelling, Customer Analytics, Credit Analytics and Risk Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the organisation's Analytics / Data & Analytics strategy.
• Lead and scale Analytics, Data Science and Business Analytics teams.

We are hiring for a confidential senior leadership position with a leading Financial Services organisation in India.

The organisation is looking to appoint a Head – Analytics to lead its Analytics function and drive the next phase of data-led business transformation.

This is a high-impact leadership role with significant interaction with senior business and functional stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and scaling analytics capabilities while translating data into actionable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the organisation's Analytics / Data & Analytics strategy
• Lead and scale a high-performing Analytics, Data Science and Business Analytics function
• Partner with senior leadership across Business, Product, Risk, Credit, Marketing and Operations
• Drive the use of Advanced Analytics, Predictive Analytics and Data Science across business decisions
• Develop analytics-led solutions to improve customer acquisition, engagement, retention, cross-sell and portfolio performance
• Drive Credit Analytics, Risk Analytics, Customer Analytics and Portfolio Analytics initiatives, as relevant to the business
• Build robust analytical frameworks, models, dashboards and decision-support tools
• Identify opportunities to leverage data and analytics to improve business performance and operational efficiency
• Establish best practices around analytics governance, data quality, modelling and insight generation
• Build, mentor and retain a strong analytics leadership and talent pipeline
• Act as a strategic thought partner to the leadership team on data-driven decision making

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of overall experience in Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science or related functions
• Strong experience within an Indian Financial Services organisation
• Experience in one or more of the following sectors: Banking, NBFC, Fintech, Consumer Finance, Lending, Cards, Payments or other BFSI businesses
• Proven experience leading a sizeable Analytics / Data Science / Business Analytics function
• Strong understanding of Advanced Analytics, Predictive Modelling, Customer Analytics, Credit Analytics, Risk Analytics and Portfolio Analytics
• Experience working closely with CXOs and senior business stakeholders
• Ability to translate complex data and analytical insights into clear business recommendations
• Strong combination of strategic thinking, business orientation and analytical depth
• Experience building and scaling analytics teams and capabilities in a high-growth environment

Candidates with backgrounds such as Head of Analytics, Analytics Head, Head of Data Analytics, Head of Data Science, Head of Business Analytics, Chief Analytics Officer, VP – Analytics, SVP – Analytics, Data & Analytics Leader, Advanced Analytics Leader within Banking, NBFCs, Fintechs or Financial Services are encouraged to apply.
