Qualifications

• Strong Medical Coding and HCC coding experience.
• 6 months to 2 years experience in HCC coding.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Health Information Management.
• RHIT or equivalent coding credentials.
• Experience with EMR systems and coding software.
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and compliance.
• Good communication and ability to work on-site in a team.
• Prior experience in risk adjustment or HCC coding in healthcare RCM is preferred.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site HCC Coders role based in Hyderabad. The HCC Coder will review medical records and documentation to assign accurate Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) codes and other relevant diagnosis codes. Responsibilities include validating clinical information, ensuring compliance with payer and regulatory guidelines, and maintaining high coding accuracy and productivity standards. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to clarify documentation, supporting audit processes, and contributing to continuous improvement in coding workflows. The HCC Coder will also stay current with coding updates, organizational policies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Medical Coding and HCC coding experience.
• Min 6 months to 2 years experinece in HCC coding projects
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Medical Terminology and Health Information Management.
• Candidates should possess relevant credentials such as RHIT or equivalent coding certifications.
• Candidates should possess coding experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and coding software.
• Candidates should possess attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Candidates should possess good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
• Prior experience in risk adjustment or HCC coding within healthcare RCM is preferred.
