Tech Cyber Security Specialist / Engineer Vault

Location: Pune / Hyderabad

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Specialist / Engineer to join our Vault Engineering team. The role focuses on the maintenance, development, deployment, and support of enterprise credential vaulting and secrets management solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with HashiCorp Enterprise Vault or similar enterprise vault/secrets management products, along with strong knowledge of Cloud, Azure, DevOps, Terraform/Ansible, IAM, and application security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, maintain, and support HashiCorp Enterprise Vault clusters and related vault services.
• Manage and support highly available, mission‑critical credential vaulting and secrets management solutions.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, resolve, and document production incidents and technical issues.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, security teams, and technology leads to deliver secure solutions.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to development and engineering best practices.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Work with Azure cloud environments and DevOps tools such as GitLab.
• Integrate vaulting/secrets management solutions with enterprise applications and IAM platforms.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, regulatory, governance, and corporate IT standards.
• Participate in Release Readiness Reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go Reviews.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, and other stakeholders across global locations.
• Take ownership of technical challenges and drive issues through to resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of existing Vault services and security solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of overall IT experience, preferably within financial services or large enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of software development/coding experience in Go/Golang or C#/.NET.
• Hands‑on experience with HashiCorp Vault / HashiCorp Enterprise Vault is highly preferred.
• Experience with enterprise Secrets Management, Credential Vaulting, PAM, or similar security products is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts and enterprise IAM integrations.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Good knowledge of DevOps, GitLab, CI/CD, Terraform, and/or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of web technologies and security standards, including:

  • REST/SOAP APIs
  • Cookies and session management
  • SAML
• Experience working with high‑availability and mission‑critical enterprise applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

• Good communication skills with the ability to discuss complex technical topics in English.
