Job summary

Photon Bengaluru is seeking a security engineer with 6-9 years of experience to own secrets management and machine identity security across cloud, DevOps, and legacy environments. You will lead discovery workshops, document and prioritize use cases for secrets discovery, rotation, access control, and lifecycle management, and drive adoption of HashiCorp, Azure Key Vault and AWS Secrets Manager.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure and cloud teams to securely integrate secrets management

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in security engineering and secrets management.
• Strong knowledge of secrets management and machine identity security.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions to gather requirements, assess risk, and translate business needs into security controls.
• Experience documenting and prioritizing use cases for secrets discovery, rotation, access control, and lifecycle management across cloud, DevOps and legacy systems.
• Experience leading discovery workshops to identify secrets usage patterns.
• Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, containerization and cloud services.
• Experience mapping use cases for human and non-human identities across applications, infrastructure, and automation pipelines.
• Experience driving adoption of secrets management platforms (HashiCorp, Azure Key Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
• Ability to collaborate with development, infrastructure and cloud teams to securely integrate secrets management into workflows.
• Preparing documentation, training materials, and guidance for best practices in secrets handling.
