Job summary

Incertech in Mumbai seeks a skilled Hardware Engineer to design and develop hardware circuits and select components with cost and performance in mind. You will create and review PCB layouts using Altium, KiCad, or OrCAD while ensuring signal integrity, EMC/EMI, and thermal management.

The role includes building test plans, debugging hardware issues, and maintaining documentation and revision history. You will collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams across the product

Qualifications

• Hardware design and development experience.
• PCB layout and design experience with Altium/KiCad/OrCAD.
• Testing and validation including functional and environmental testing.
• Debugging and root cause analysis of hardware issues.
• Documentation of schematics, BOMs, test reports, and compliance docs.
• Revision control experience (Git or similar).
• Collaboration with firmware, mechanical and manufacturing teams.
• Support suppliers and EMS partners during prototyping and production.
