Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services in Pune, India, seeks a senior hardware architect with 10+ years in automotive electronics design (power, digital, analog, RF, video, audio). Qualifications

• Master or bachelor in Electronics or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of automotive electronics product design experience.
• Proven mass production launches and mechanical integration.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 and ISO 21434.
• Ability to propose alternative designs and collaborate across electronics, mechanics, and software.
• Global understanding of software, electronics, mechanics, and industrialization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements analysis and manage system/hardware specifications.
• Define hardware product architecture considering performance, safety, and cost.
• Address cybersecurity and functional safety aspects in electronic designs.
• Perform in-depth hardware analysis for new concepts, platforms, and RFQs.
• Collaborate with purchasing and technical leaders on design-to-cost activities.
• Support supplier/customer technical meetings and occasional business trips.
• Drive innovation through technology surveys and architecture enhancements.
• Provide justifications for design choices and ensure compliance with standards.
• Contribute to architecture tools/templates (architecture diagrams, BOMs, power trees).
• Support demonstrator builds (A-samples) and foster synergy between architecture and design.
