Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an embedded hardware engineer for Bangalore (Electronic City area) to work on ECU embedded electronics and related hardware design tasks. The role involves leading schematic and layout reviews, debugging high-complexity multilayer PCBs, and collaborating across engineering domains.

Qualifications include a MSc in a relevant field, automotive experience, and strong knowledge of vehicle bus protocols, EMI/EMC, and thermal management.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Electrical/Electronic/Compute/Aerospace Eng or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial or automotive (preferred) area (Tier1).
• Understanding of embedded electronics design constraints.
• Familiar with system/component design and EE architecture topologies and safety.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and lead schematic and layout design reviews.
• Support hardware design across multiple domains where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with PCB design rules and interfaces to mechanical.
• Handle PI/SI considerations when applicable.

• Master of Science in Electrical, Electronic, Compute, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent program
• Experienced in industrial or automotive (preferred) area (TIER1...)
• Understanding with embedded electronics design constraints
• Familiar with system/component design, EE architecture topologies and safety
• Solid understanding of system/component design
• Familiar with vehicle bus: ETH/CAN FD/LIN/LVDS communication protocols and troubleshooting tools
