Job summary

Charze Electrify is seeking a hardware design engineer to design schematics and PCB layouts for power electronics projects. You will develop sensing circuits, analog signal conditioning, isolation interfaces, and communication interfaces, collaborating with firmware teams to finalize hardware interfaces.

You will handle component selection, BOM preparation, and ensure compliance with creepage, grounding, thermal, and EMI/EMC design principles.

Qualifications

• Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent PCB design tools.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Experience designing multilayer PCBs and power-electronics control boards.
• Understanding isolated measurement, grounding, signal integrity, and switching noise.
• Ability to read datasheets and perform component-level troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with laboratory instruments and PCB bring-up.

Role & responsibilities

• Design electronic schematics and PCB layouts.
• Develop voltage/current sensing and analog signal-conditioning circuits.
• Design auxiliary power supplies, protection circuits, isolation interfaces, and communication interfaces.
• Work with the power electronics and firmware teams to finalize hardware interfaces.
• Perform component selection, derating calculations, and BOM preparation.
• Apply creepage/clearance, grounding, thermal, and EMI/EMC design principles.
• Support PCB fabrication, assembly, prototype testing, and hardware debugging.
• Maintain design revisions, manufacturing files, and engineering documentation.

Preferred candidate profile
