Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Analogy Design in Bengaluru seeks an electronics design engineer to own full board development—from schematics to bring-up of connected products. You will select components, design multi-layer PCBs, and validate hardware with embedded code and test rigs.
You will collaborate with mechanical and industrial teams on layout, antenna keep-outs, and thermal paths, while coordinating with fab houses and documenting board revisions for repeatability. On-site position.
Design the boards behind our connected products - schematic, layout, bring-up and debug - and be the person who gets a prototype working by Friday.
Design schematics for connected consumer products - power, sensing, wireless, interface - and own the component selection behind themLay out multi-layer PCBs with proper attention to grounding, decoupling, impedance, EMI and manufacturabilityBring up new boards and debug them to a working state, with a scope, a logic analyser and a methodWrite enough embedded code to validate your hardware, then hand over cleanly to firmwareBuild test rigs and harnesses so board validation is a repeatable sequence rather than an improvisation each timeWork with mechanical and industrial design on board outline, connector placement, antenna keep-outs and thermal paths - early, not after the enclosure is fixedManage fab and assembly vendors: BOM, gerbers, pick-and-place files, DFM feedback, first article reviewDocument every board you own - schematic revision, BOM, pin map, flashing procedure, known issues - to a standard a stranger could work fromSupport products through EMC pre-scan and certification, and act on what the scan finds
3-6 years designing electronics for products that were built, not just prototyped on a dev boardStrong schematic and PCB layout ability in a professional tool - Altium, KiCad, OrCAD or Eagle - including multi-layer boardsDemonstrable bring-up and debug skill: you can describe the hardest bug you found and exactly how you found itComfortable with embedded C at the register level, enough to prove a peripheral worksHands-on with the bench - soldering, rework down to fine-pitch parts, scope, logic analyser, bench supplyYou have worked with a fab or assembly house and dealt with their DFM feedbackSomething you built for yourself, outside work, that you can show usBased in Bengaluru or willing to relocate; this is a bench job and it is on-site
Degree or diploma in electronics, electrical, instrumentation or communications engineeringLow-power or battery-powered product experience - power budgets, sleep modes, chargingExposure to EMC, radio or safety certification, in India or internationallyExperience with sensor integration, analog signal conditioning, or RF layout inside a difficult enclosure
