Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Hard Modeler with 8-10 years of experience in design studios. The role covers 3D printed models, surface preparation for painting and CMF work across exteriors and interiors.

You will examine surfaces, mix paints, and ensure accurate color texture. You will collaborate with designers for shade approvals, maintain paint materials inventory, and keep the painting area clean.

Qualifications

• ITI/ Diploma in Engg or Fine Arts required.
• 8–10 years of experience in hard model making.
• Knowledge of CMF and design understanding required.

Responsibilities

• Examine surfaces to determine the work required.
• Mix paint and other materials to achieve correct color/texture.
• Record and maintain paint inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the painting area.
• Collaborate with designers for shade approvals.

Experience - 8 to 10 years

Job Role - Hard modeler: Design Understanding,3D printing ,model finishing, Part painting, Ornamentation, Film application, CMF knowledge

Job Responsibility -

• Examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary.
• Mix Paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture.
• Recording and maintaining the Paint material inventory.
• Responsible for cleaning up the area and maintenance of the Painting area.
• Work closely with designers for the Shade approval.

Technical / Functional Requirements -

Good Understanding of

• Preparing the 3D printed model /parts & Surface preparation for Painting by scraping, using sand paper, Puttyetc.
• Surface Highlight control on the Parts/models for Exteriors and interiors
• Painting of parts as per the instruction sheet.
• Working in Design Studio, Interaction with designers.

High level of creativity and design understanding
