Job summary

Role Description

The Gynecologist will provide evidence-based outpatient and inpatient care, including routine gynecological examinations, diagnosis and management of gynecologic conditions, and counseling on reproductive health and preventive care. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations, performing and/or overseeing gynecologic procedures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and following established clinical protocols. The role also involves coordinating with digital care tools, contributing to care plans, and participating in clinical quality and safety initiatives. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring regular presence at Bridge Health’s clinical facilities and close engagement with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical foundation in Medicine with demonstrated competence in women’s health and preventive care.
• Advanced skills in Gynecology and Obstetrics, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient counseling.
• Proficiency in Surgery and Gynecologic Surgery for relevant procedures, with adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and post-graduate specialization (MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics and Gynecology or equivalent) with valid medical council registration.
• Experience in outpatient and hospital-based gynecological practice; prior work in preventive or integrated care settings is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately, work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, and use electronic medical records and digital health tools.
• Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and culturally sensitive, inclusive care for diverse patient populations.
