Job summary

PCYC Queensland seeks a passionate Gym and Fitness Instructor to join the Dalby Youth Club and deliver a broad range of fitness programs to clients of all ages. You will help improve programs, attract participants, and mentor junior staff while maintaining excellent customer service and a welcoming, inclusive environment.

The role supports not-for-profit benefits, a free PCYC gym membership, and engagement with leadership development and health programs.

Qualifications

• Certificate III SIS30321 or equivalent AQF qualification.
• Industry accreditation such as AUSactive preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a broad range of group fitness programs to PCYC clients of all ages.
• Contribute to improving programs and attracting new participants.
• Assist with junior staff development and maintain high levels of customer service.
• Foster a supportive, respectful and positive atmosphere for members.

Youwill be a valuable Gym and Fitness Instructor who will develop and deliver our broad range of group fitness programs to our PCYC clients of all ages. You will be responsible for contributingtowards improving our programs, attracting and retaining newparticipants, assisting with the development of junior staff and commit to a high level of customer service at all times. AboutYou

• Hold a minimumCertificate III (SIS30321) in Fitness or equivalent AQFqualification in a relevant area of practice (GEL qualificationis not accepted). Core units SISFFIT032, SISFFIT033,SISFFIT035, SISFFIT036 are required.
• Holds industryaccreditation, preferably with AUSactive
• Instructionalexperience in the relevant area of practice.
• Demonstratedexperience in the design, delivery and evaluation ofprograms
• Hold a currentFirst Aid and CPR certificate
