Job summary

GyanSys Inc. in Bengaluru, Karnataka is seeking a Lead Master Data Engineer (MDM) to drive design and implementation across Customer, Material, Product, Vendor and other data domains.

You will build golden records, lead match-merge strategies, define survivorship rules and data Quality KPIs, and partner with business stakeholders to enable trusted master data across ERP, CRM, supply chain and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in data management, data engineering, architecture, or MDM.
• 3+ years hands-on MDM implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of golden records, match-merge, survivorship, and entity resolution.
• Experience integrating data across ERP, CRM, supply chain, manufacturing or analytics platforms.
• Strong SQL, data modeling and data mapping skills.
• Ability to translate governance and business rules into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise MDM design & implementation across domains (Customer, Material, Product, Vendor, Supplier).
• Build golden record and match-merge strategies using deterministic & probabilistic matching.
• Define survivorship rules, source precedence, confidence scoring & duplicate management.
• Build data quality frameworks: profiling, validation, cleansing, monitoring, KPIs.
• Enable stewardship workflows and partner with business stakeholders to trust master data.
• Design integration & synchronization patterns (API, event-driven, batch, file-based) across systems.
• Evaluate MDM platforms and contribute to build-vs-buy and PoC decisions.

What You'll Own

• Lead enterprise MDM design & implementation across Customer, Material, Product, Vendor, Supplier, and future data domains.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in data management, data engineering, architecture, or MDM.
• 3+ years of hands‑on MDM implementation experience.
• Strong grasp of golden records, match & merge, survivorship, entity resolution, reference & hierarchy data management, and data stewardship.
• Experience integrating data across ERP, CRM, supply chain, manufacturing, or analytics platforms.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and data mapping skills.
• Ability to translate governance and business rules into scalable technical solutions.

Nice To Have

• Experience with Informatica MDM, Reltio, Profisee, Precisely, Semarchy, SAP MDG, IBM InfoSphere MDM, or similar.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP Glue, DataZone, Lake Formation, Redshift, Data Factory, Purview, Databricks, Snowflake.
• Manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or industrial domain experience.
• Experience with global teams and shared capability center delivery models.
