Job summary

AXA Global Business Services in Pune, India, seeks a senior Guidewire Architect to own end-to-end architecture for Guidewire ClaimCenter across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid setups. You will design scalable, secure solutions and lead technical strategy for large-scale deployments.

The role requires 10+ years in Guidewire, strong GOSU and cloud experience, and a track record of driving DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and integration with REST/SOAP services.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership on large-scale Guidewire projects, including greenfield implementations and cloud migrations.
• Act as trusted technical advisor to senior management and project teams, articulating complex concepts clearly.
• Lead code reviews and ensure quality, performance, and maintainability of the codebase.
• Collaborate with BAs, PMs, QA, and developers to plan deliverables and robust solutions.
• Develop technical documentation, deployment procedures, and integration guides.

• 10+ years of guidewire implementations, and upgrades in the Insurance products.
• Own end-to-end architecture for Guidewire implementations (PC/BC/CC).
• Guidewire implementations, and upgrades in the Insurance products.
• Define the technical architecture, roadmap and design for Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations, including on-premise, cloud, and hybrid deployments, aligning with the client's enterprise architecture standards.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions within Guidewire and integrated systems.
• Develop architectural blueprints, technical roadmaps, and strategies for Guidewire ClaimCenter that support long-term business goals and evolving technology landscapes.
• Strong experience with Guidewire Cloud, Edge APIs, GOSU programming.
• Evaluate new Guidewire features, modules, and industry trends (e.g., AI/ML integration, microservices, cloud-native patterns) to recommend strategic adoption.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
• Provide architectural leadership on large-scale Guidewire projects including greenfield implementations and cloud migrations.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior management, business stakeholders, and project teams, articulating complex technical concepts clearly.
• Expertise in web services (REST/SOAP), data modeling, microservices.
• Responsible for technical solutioning, understanding the nuances of the Guidewire ClaimCenter platform to best address business requirements.
• Define non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, availability, and disaster recovery for ClaimCenter and ensure designs meet these requirements.
• Provide expert technical leadership and guidance to development teams (senior developers, developers, and integrators)
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the quality, maintainability, and performance of the codebase.

• Collaborate with BAs, PMs, QA, and other developers to understand requirements, plan deliverables, and deliver robust solutions.
• Effectively engage in team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions
• Lead the estimation and prioritization of sprint backlog items, ensuring alignment with project goals and efficient resource utilization.
• Monitoring the Guidewire coding standards and guidelines and contribute to the development of best practices.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, integration guides, and deployment procedures.
