Job summary

BlitzenX Solutions seeks an experienced Guidewire leader to help build and shape a growing Guidewire practice serving North American insurers. You will own architecture strategy across implementations, cloud migrations, and managed services while mentoring architects and delivery teams.

You will work directly with executive leadership, engage with carrier CIOs and stakeholders, and help define delivery standards and quality practices to drive long-term growth and client success.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering, consulting, or enterprise application experience.
• 10+ years of Guidewire experience.
• Experience leading distributed delivery teams.
• Mentoring and developing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture strategy across Guidewire implementation, upgrade, cloud migration, and managed services engagements.
• Define architecture standards, integration frameworks, and delivery best practices.
• Provide technical leadership across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and Guidewire Cloud initiatives.
• Review solution designs and guide teams through complex technical challenges.
• Establish scalable and reusable implementation patterns.
• Help build and scale the BlitzenX Guidewire practice and delivery framework.
• Mentor architects, technical leads, and senior consultants.

What You Will Do

• Lead architecture strategy across Guidewire implementation, upgrade, cloud migration, and managed services engagements.
• Define architecture standards, integration frameworks, and delivery best practices.
• Provide technical leadership across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and Guidewire Cloud initiatives.
• Review solution designs and guide teams through complex technical challenges.
• Establish scalable and reusable implementation patterns.

Practice Building

• Help build and scale the BlitzenX Guidewire practice.
• Support the growth of the organization to 50+ experienced Guidewire consultants, developers, and technical leads.
• Establish delivery frameworks, technical standards, and quality practices.
• Partner with leadership on capability development and workforce planning.
• Contribute to the long-term growth strategy of the Guidewire business.

Team Development

• Mentor architects, technical leads, and senior consultants.
• Conduct career development discussions and coaching sessions.
• Identify future leaders and actively help them grow.
• Build a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Ensure team members have the support, guidance, and opportunities needed to succeed.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to carrier technology leaders.
• Lead architecture workshops and strategic discussions.
• Support delivery teams in managing technical risk and driving successful outcomes.
• Build long-term relationships with client stakeholders.

Business Growth

• Support solutioning, proposals, and pre-sales activities.
• Participate in client presentations and discovery workshops.
• Contribute to thought leadership and industry visibility initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

• 15+ years of software engineering, consulting, or enterprise application experience.
• 10+ years of Guidewire experience.
• Multiple end-to-end Guidewire implementation programs.
• Strong experience working directly with insurance carrier stakeholders.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop technical teams.
• Experience leading distributed delivery teams.
• Experience in one or more of the following:
