Job summary

BlitzenX Solutions is seeking a hands-on Guidewire Developer with 5+ years of real-world implementation experience across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter. You will design, develop, and integrate Guidewire solutions with focus on GOSU, PCF, and Java-based services.

You will work in fast-paced teams, own features end-to-end, and ensure quality and timely delivery in an Agile environment. Prior multi-center Guidewire experience is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Guidewire development in real implementation or support projects.
• Experience across at least one Guidewire X-Center; multi-center experience is a strong advantage.
• Ability to independently own assigned modules and deliver within defined timelines.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and develop Guidewire solutions across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter.
• Implement business logic using GOSU, Guidewire rules, PCF, and extension frameworks.
• Develop and support integrations with external systems using SOAP/REST web services.
• Work closely with senior developers and leads to implement architecture-aligned solutions.
• Debug, analyze, and resolve complex Guidewire issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and Agile delivery ceremonies.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and compliance with Guidewire and BlitzenX standards.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production stabilization activities as required.

Job description

BlitzenX is looking for a strong, hands-on Guidewire Developer with 5+ years of real-world implementation experience across one or more Guidewire X-Centers - PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.

This role is for engineers who write solid code, understand the Guidewire platform deeply, and deliver without hand-holding. You will work in high-velocity teams, contribute directly to production-grade implementations, and be expected to own your work end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and develop Guidewire solutions across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter.
• Implement business logic using GOSU, Guidewire rules, PCF, and extension frameworks.
• Develop and support integrations with external systems using SOAP/REST web services.
• Work closely with senior developers and leads to implement architecture-aligned solutions.
• Debug, analyze, and resolve complex Guidewire issues across development, test, and production environments.

Technical Acumen

• Strong understanding of the Guidewire data model and entity relationships.
• Hands-on expertise in PCF development, rules configuration, workflows, and batch processing.
• Proficient in GOSU, with practical experience extending Guidewire core functionality.
• Solid knowledge of Java, XML, and web service integrations (SOAP/REST).
• Experience with Guidewire integration patterns, including messaging and plugins.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and deployment processes.
• Working knowledge of P&C insurance domain concepts and end-to-end system flows.
