Job summary

BlitzenX is seeking a Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer with strong experience in PolicyCenter configuration and customization. The role involves implementing, enhancing, and supporting PolicyCenter solutions for insurance clients, with hands-on work in Gosu, Guidewire Studio, and related technologies.

The candidate will develop and configure PolicyCenter components, customize UI via PCF, and integrate systems via SOAP/REST APIs, while participating in upgrades and Agile delivery.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science / IT / Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter components such as: Product Model, PCF (Page Configuration Format), Workflows, Business Rules, Typelists, Data Model extensions.
• Customize PolicyCenter using Gosu programming language.
• Implement UI changes using PCF files.
• Configure rating, underwriting, and policy lifecycle features.
• Develop integrations with external systems using SOAP/REST APIs.
• Participate in Guidewire upgrades and version migrations.
• Write unit tests and support SIT/UAT testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, QA, and Architects to deliver solutions.
• Follow Agile/Scrum development practices.

• Understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git/SVN).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Guidewire Claim Center or Guidewire Billing Center.
• Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Java and Spring frameworks.
