Job summary

EY GDS seeks an experienced Guidewire Consultant to join our delivery teams in Bengaluru. You will contribute across Policy Admin, Claims, Billing, Underwriting, Data, Digital and Actuarial streams on global Guidewire implementations and platform programs.

You will collaborate with global EY teams, mentor project resources, and interface with onsite coordinators and clients. 1–12 years of insurance-domain experience with strong technical skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Guidewire GW PC/CC/BC Config/Integration and GW Digital concepts.
• Guidewire implementations, and upgrades in the Insurance sector.
• Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance.
• Strong knowledge and experience on PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and any Enterprise Messaging System.
• Should have understanding and experience of Tomcat and/or WebSphere/WebLogic.
• Understanding and experience of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication and leadership skills.
• Prior Client facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an advisory role as a Consultant / Technical Expert to contribute in various technical streams of Guidewire implementation/Integration project.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators
• Planning and monitoring of the project deliverables from the team.
• Mentor the project team in executing the identified projects
• Regular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinators
• Interface with the customer representatives as and when needed
• Travel to the customers locations on need basis

Experience Range - 1 to 12 years.

Key / Must have skills:

• Experience in Guidewire GW PC / CC / BC Config / Integration / GW Digital. Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience of various GW PC / CC / BC Config / Integration / GW Digitalconcepts.
• Guidewire implementations, and upgrades in the Insurance sector.
• Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance.
• Strong in Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System
• Should have strong knowledge and experience on Tomcat and or Websphere/Weblogic
• Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, Preferably from Insurance domain background
• Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication skills
• Excellent leadership skills
• Prior Client facing experience
