Job summary

EY is seeking a Technical Lead in IT Consulting Services to drive Guidewire implementations including Portal and EDGE for global clients, based in Mumbai. You will lead technical streams, mentor the team, and coordinate with onsite coordinators to ensure successful delivery.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of experience, strong Java/JS stack, and expertise in Guidewire Portals within Insurance (Property & Casualty).

• GW Portal and EDGE competencies.
• Experience in Guidewire Portals and Insurance domain (Property & Casualty).

Responsibilities

• Lead as a technical leader across Guidewire implementation projects.
• Interface with onsite coordinators and coordinate delivery milestones.
• Mentor project team and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide regular status updates to Manager and onsite coordinators.
• Interact with customer representatives as needed and manage demanding clients.

Job purpose: (part of description)

Technical Lead in the IT Consulting Services team to work on various Guidewire implementation projects with Portal and EDGE implementation for our customers across the globe.

Your client responsibilities: (part of description)

• Need to work as a team leader (technical leader) to contribute in various technical streams of Guidewire implementation project.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators
• Planning and monitoring of the project deliverables from the team.
• Mentor the project team in executing the identified projects
• Regular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinators
• Interface with the customer representatives as and when needed
• Willing to travel to the customers locations on need basis
• Should be able to handle demanding clients and handle the deliveries

• We are looking for the candidates with the following: BE/BTech/MCA with a sound industry experience of 7 to 10 Yrs
• You will need to have:(GW Portal and EDGE Competencies, AngularJS, ReactJS)

Mandatory skills:

• Java 8+, JSON, REST API, ReactJS/AngularJS, Javascript, HTML.
• Should have strong knowledge and experience on Tomcat and or Websphere/Weblogic
• Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, Preferably from Insurance domain background.
• Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Experience in Guidewire Portals.
• Experience in Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty.
• Experience preferred: REST API, ReactJS/AngularJS, Core java, Gosu & Insurance sector domain experience.
• Good to Have: Git repository, Guidewire Certified is an added advantage, Template Design Pattern.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in GuideWire, Policy Center Configuration/ Integration/Conversion
• Experience in Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty.
• Prior Client facing experience
