Job summary

EY in Hyderabad, India, is seeking a Technical Lead in the IT Consulting Services team to drive Guidewire implementation projects with Portal and EDGE across global clients. You will lead technical streams, interface with onsite coordinators, plan deliverables, and mentor the project team to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires BE/BTech/MCA with 7–10 years of experience, strong Java/REST/UI skills, and Insurance domain knowledge, especially Property & Casualty.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MCA with a sound industry experience of 7 to 10 Yrs.
• Experience in Guidewire Portals.
• Experience in Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty.
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead as technical leader across various streams of Guidewire implementation projects.
• Interface with onsite coordinators and coordinate with customer representatives as needed.
• Plan and monitor project deliverables from the team and mentor project resources.
• Provide regular status reporting to the Manager and on-site coordinators.
• Travel to customer locations as needed and handle demanding clients.

Job purpose: (part of description)

• Technical Lead in the IT Consulting Services team to work on various Guidewire implementation projects with Portal and EDGE implementation for our customers across the globe.

Your client responsibilities: (part of description)

• Need to work as a team leader (technical leader) to contribute in various technical streams of Guidewire implementation project.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators
• Planning and monitoring of the project deliverables from the team.
• Mentor the project team in executing the identified projects
• Regular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinators
• Interface with the customer representatives as and when needed
• Willing to travel to the customers locations on need basis
• Should be able to handle demanding clients and handle the deliveries

We are looking for the candidates with the following:

• BE/BTech/MCA with a sound industry experience of 7 to 10 Yrs

You will need to have:

• (GW Portal and EDGE Competencies, AngularJS, ReactJS)

Mandatory skills:

• Java 8+, JSON, REST API, ReactJS/AngularJS, Javascript, HTML.
• Should have strong knowledge and experience on Tomcat and or Websphere/Weblogic
• Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, Preferably from Insurance domain background.
• Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Experience in Guidewire Portals.
• Experience in Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty.

Experience preferred:

• REST API, ReactJS/AngularJS, Core java, Gosu & Insurance sector domain experience.

Good to Have:

• Git repository, Guidewire Certified is an added advantage, Template Design Pattern.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in GuideWire, Policy Center Configuration/ Integration/Conversion
• Experience in Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty.
• Prior Client facing experience
