Job summary

EY is seeking a Technical Lead in IT Consulting Services to lead Guidewire implementation projects and related Portal/EDGE initiatives for global customers. You will guide technical streams, mentor teams, and coordinate with onsite coordinators to ensure timely delivery.

Candidates should hold BE/BTech/MCA with 7–10 years of experience in Guidewire Portals, REST APIs, and enterprise integration. Strong leadership and client-facing skills are essential, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MCA with 7–10 years of industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of Guidewire Portals, GW Portal and EDGE.
• Experience in Insurance domain, preferably Property & Casualty.
• Hands-on with REST API, ReactJS/AngularJS, Core Java and Gosu.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical streams of Guidewire implementation projects.
• Interface with onsite coordinators and client representatives.
• Plan and monitor project deliverables from the team.
• Mentor project resources and drive delivery quality.
• Provide regular status updates to managers and stakeholders.
• Travel to customer locations as needed and handle demanding clients.

Job purpose: (part of description)

Technical Lead in the IT Consulting Services team to work on various Guidewire implementation projects with Portal and EDGE implementation for our customers across the globe.

Your client responsibilities: (part of description)

• Need to work as a team leader (technical leader) to contribute in various technical streams of Guidewire implementation project.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators
• Planning and monitoring of the project deliverables from the team.
• Mentor the project team in executing the identified projects
• Regular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinators
• Interface with the customer representatives as and when needed
• Willing to travel to the customers locations on need basis
• Should be able to handle demanding clients and handle the deliveries

• We are looking for the candidates with the following: BE/BTech/MCA with a sound industry experience of 7 to 10 Yrs
• You will need to have:(GW Portal and EDGE Competencies, AngularJS, ReactJS)

Mandatory skills:

• Should have strong knowledge and experience on Tomcat and or Websphere/Weblogic
• Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, Preferably from Insurance domain background.
• Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Experience in Guidewire Portals.
• Experience in Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty.
• Experience preferred: REST API, ReactJS/AngularJS, Core java, Gosu & Insurance sector domain experience.
• Good to Have: Git repository, Guidewire Certified is an added advantage, Template Design Pattern.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in GuideWire, Policy Center Configuration/ Integration/Conversion
• Experience in Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty.
• Prior Client facing experience
