Job summary

EY is seeking a Technical Lead in IT Consulting Services to drive Guidewire implementation projects, including Portal and EDGE, for global clients from Bengaluru. You will lead technical streams, mentor the team, and coordinate with onsite partners to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires BE/BTech/MCA with 7–10 years of experience, expertise in GW Portals, AngularJS/ReactJS, and real-time enterprise integration. Travel to client sites will be needed as projects require.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MCA with 7–10 years of industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of Guidewire Portals and EDGE, plus AngularJS/ReactJS.
• Experience with Tomcat and Websphere/Weblogic; Insurance domain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical streams of Guidewire implementation projects.

Job purpose: (part of description)

• Technical Lead in the IT Consulting Services team to work on various Guidewire implementation projects with Portal and EDGE implementation for our customers across the globe.

Your client responsibilities: (part of description)

• Need to work as a team leader (technical leader) to contribute in various technical streams of Guidewire implementation project.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators
• Planning and monitoring of the project deliverables from the team.
• Mentor the project team in executing the identified projects
• Regular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinators
• Interface with the customer representatives as and when needed
• Willing to travel to the customers locations on need basis
• Should be able to handle demanding clients and handle the deliveries

We are looking for the candidates with the following:

• BE/BTech/MCA with a sound industry experience of 7 to 10 Yrs

You will need to have:

• (GW Portal and EDGE Competencies, AngularJS, ReactJS)

Mandatory skills:

• Should have strong knowledge and experience on Tomcat and or Websphere/Weblogic
• Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, Preferably from Insurance domain background.
• Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Experience in Guidewire Portals.
• Experience in Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty.

Experience preferred:

• REST API, ReactJS/AngularJS, Core java, Gosu & Insurance sector domain experience.

Good to Have:

• Git repository, Guidewire Certified is an added advantage, Template Design Pattern.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in GuideWire, Policy Center Configuration/ Integration/Conversion
• Experience in Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty.
• Prior Client facing experience
