Job summary

Ethernovia, Inc., Pune, India, is looking for a Software Engineer – GUI Tools to build critical visual tools for our automotive networking tech. You will create GUI software used by engineering teams to debug, test, and demonstrate our platform.

Software Engineer – GUI Tools (Mid to Senior Level)

Ethernovia is seeking a talented and passionate Software Engineer – GUI Tools to join our team. We have multiple positions available for both mid-level and senior-level engineers. Job Description

As a Software Engineer for GUI Tools, you will be responsible for creating the Graphical User Interface (GUI) visual tools used by our engineering team. You will develop software-based GUIs for Ethernovia's evaluation platforms and networking devices. These tools are crucial for the debugging, testing, and demonstration of our cutting-edge technology. Your work will directly enable our engineers to interact with and validate our hardware, playing a vital role in our product development lifecycle.

Technical Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science/software or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Mid-Level: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Senior-Level: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• Core Skills:
  • A strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, including Architecture, Implementation, and Testing fundamentals.
  • Added advantage if C/C++ or Python Programming Language knowledge is available.
  • Experience developing GUIs, preferably using React.js/Next.js, Web, REST etc.
  • Experience with the integration and testing of open-source middleware, libraries, and drivers.

Nice to Have Experience

• Experience with code version control and review tools/processes like Perforce, Git, or Swarm.
• Familiarity with automation and DevOps tools like Jenkins.
• Experience with GRPC, Protobuf, or similar Remote Procedure Call (RPC) software.
