Job summary

Ethernovia invites applications for an Embedded Lab Technician in Shivajinagar, Pune. You will support the engineering team with testing, maintenance, and assembly within a hands-on lab environment.

The role focuses on preparing and executing tests for electronic products. We seek someone with 1–3 years in electronics labs, preferably semiconductor experience, and with strong soldering, reading drawings, and proficiency with lab equipment.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of electronics lab experience preferred, especially semiconductor labs.
• Proficient in reading electrical/mechanical drawings and using common test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute automatic and manual tests on electronic products, accurately recording results.
• Perform soldering and desoldering on through-hole, bare board, IC packages and SMD components.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to aid testing, assembly and troubleshooting.
• Operate test equipment such as logic analyzers, signal analyzers, function generators, power supplies and multimeters.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment and fixtures.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of circuits and test setups.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment.

Embedded Lab Technician

We're looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Embedded Lab Technician to join our team in Shivajinagar, Pune. If you have a passion for electronics, hands‑on lab experience, and are eager to contribute to product testing and development, we encourage you to apply.

As an Embedded Lab Technician, you will support our engineering team by performing various testing, maintenance, and assembly tasks within our lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute automatic and manual tests on electronic products, accurately recording and reporting results.
• Perform soldering and desoldering on through‑hole, bare board, IC packages and SMD components.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to aid in testing, assembly and troubleshooting.
• Operate essential lab equipment such as logic analyzers, signal analyzers, function generators, AC/DC power supplies and multimeters.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment, including power supplies, automated test stands and test fixtures.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of electronic circuits and test setups.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Preferably a Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 1‑3 years of experience in an electronics lab setting, with a strong preference for semiconductor lab experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of electronic components and standard lab accessories.
  • Proficiency in soldering and desoldering techniques (through‑hole, bare board, IC packages, SMD).
  • Familiarity with operating common test equipment (logic analyzers, signal analyzers, function generators, AC/DC power supplies).
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
