Job summary

Stay Local Inc in Mumbai is seeking a Guest Services Associate to own the guest experience end-to-end in a hybrid role with autonomy. You’ll anticipate guest needs, communicate warmly, coordinate across departments, and ensure consistent service across properties.

About the Role

You'll own the guest experience end-to-end while helping build and refine the systems that let us scale. It's a hybrid role with real autonomy, with the trust to make on-ground calls without needing sign-off for every decision. We're looking for someone proactive who notices what a guest might need before they have to ask, communicates warmly and clearly throughout their stay, and catches small issues before they become bigger ones. You'll take ownership when something needs fixing, follow through co-ordinate with different departments/team members until it's actually resolved, and help keep our guest experience consistent across every property.

What You'll Do

• Own guest communication across the full booking cycle, pre-arrival through check-out
• Manage and coordinate seamless check-ins, property orientation, and on-ground guest support (either in person or virtual)
• Coordinate housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance to keep every stay running smoothly
• Conduct periodic property inspections and flag issues proactively and ensure the issues are resolved on timely basis
• Work directly with the founder to identify process gaps and build SOPs as we scale
• Report weekly on guest feedback, concerns, and improvement areas
• Bring ideas to the table from guest experience tweaks to operational efficiencies

What We’re Looking For

• +2 years' experience in hospitality or short-term/vacation rental management
• Airbnb management or vacation rental management experience is a big plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Comfortable working hybrid, with periodic travel across Mumbai (Andheri to Colaba) for site visits and other requirements
• A builder's mindset - someone who notices what's broken and wants to fix it, not just flag it
