Job summary

Roswyn, A Morgans Originals Hotel in Mumbai is seeking a Front Office Associate to assist guests with check-in/check-out, manage cashiering duties, and warmly welcome VIP guests with personalized service.

You will maintain repeat guest history, promote hotel facilities, handle guest communications, and uphold privacy and safety standards to deliver memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder or Graduate from Hotel Management institute.
• Pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience with lifestyle luxury brands is preferred.
• Passionate about creating memories for guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check in and checkout, as well as other cashiering duties.
• Review arrival lists and prepare compendiums prior to guests’ arrival and check-into system if necessary.
• Welcome and interact with guests on arrival, register and issue room keys.
• Ensure members receive all benefits and VIPs receive special recognition and service; prepare welcome cards and amenities.
• Update and maintain repeat guest history system.
• Promote hotel facilities and in-house services to maximize revenue.
• Handle guests’ mails, messages, and phone calls.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of guest details.
• Be vigilant about in-house credit matters and flag discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Security or Duty Manager as needed.
• Know hotel facilities, F&B outlets, timings and features.
• Be a storyteller about the hotel and its outlets.
• Be aware of fire and life safety procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain high personal appearance and hygiene.

Job Description

• Assist guests with check in and checkout, as well as other cashiering duties
• Review arrival lists and prepare compendiums prior to guests’ arrival and check-into system if necessary
• Welcome and interact with the guests on arrival, register and issue room keys according to departmental standards and procedures
• Ensure that members consistently receive all benefits, and repeat guests and other VIP’s receive special recognition and service. Prepare and send welcome cards and amenities to room prior to guest arrival
• Update and maintain repeat guest history system
• Promote Inter-Hotel sales and in-house facilities according to departmental standards to maximize revenue
• Handling guests’ mails, messages, and answering of phone calls
• Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all guests by ensuring that no details of the guests are disclosed
• Be vigilant in regard to in-house credit matters and act upon any discrepancies
• Alert Security or Duty Manager of suspicious looking person(s) / articles
• Have knowledge about the hotel facilities , F&B outlets, timings and other features
• Be aware about the Hotel and its every outlet's story and be a story teller to the guest.
• Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
