Job summary

Accor in Chennai, India is seeking a Guest Service Associate - F&B Service to join our vibrant hotel team. You will be the face of our food and beverage operations, greeting guests, taking orders, serving with warmth and ensuring a memorable dining experience aligned with our brand standards.

You will collaborate with kitchen and bar teams, monitor guest satisfaction, and support training and inventory tasks while upholding food safety and hygiene.

• Previous experience in food and beverage service, hospitality, or guest-facing roles (preferred).
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues.
• Basic understanding of menu items, ingredients, and beverage offerings (training provided).
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting, seating, and attending to guests with warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders while providing knowledgeable recommendations and addressing guest preferences and dietary requirements
• Serve food and beverages according to established brand standards and service protocols, ensuring proper presentation and timing
• Maintain clear and efficient communication with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless coordination and timely order fulfillment
• Monitor guest satisfaction during service, respond promptly to requests, and resolve any concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism
• Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and properly set according to established standards before, during, and after service
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members, demonstrating service procedures and fostering a collaborative team environment
