Job summary

viamagus is seeking a hands-on GTM Automation Engineer – AI to build internal tools and AI workflows that accelerate our sales and GTM teams. You\'ll work directly with sales, understand business requirements, and independently implement technical solutions via APIs, data sources, and infrastructure.

You will prototype and ship tools for non-technical users, automate across LinkedIn, email, SMS, CRM, and other channels, and transform raw prospect lists into enriched GTM data.

Qualifications

• 1+ year hands-on GTM automation or growth engineering experience.
• Built real GTM automations with AI heavily.
• Proficient in Python scripting and FastAPI.
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL/SQLite and data extraction.

We are looking for a highly hands-on GTM Automation Engineer – AI to build internal tools, automations and AI workflows that accelerate our sales and GTM teams.

You will work directly with sales, understand requirements expressed in business terms, and independently figure out how to technically make them happen — including the right APIs, data sources, workflows and infrastructure.

What you’ll do

• Build AI-powered workflows for prospecting, research, qualification, enrichment, personalization and outreach.
• Automate GTM activities across LinkedIn, email, SMS, CRM and other sales channels.
• Take raw prospect/account lists and turn them into enriched, structured and actionable GTM data.
• Use scraping, external data sources and AI research to identify, enrich, classify and filter prospects.
• Use AI heavily for personalization, research, qualification, structured data extraction and decision-making.
• Translate loosely defined sales requirements into working technical solutions.
• Rapidly script, prototype, test and ship internal GTM tools and automations.
• Build solutions that can be reliably used by non-technical teams or deployed on a server when required.

Must have

• 1+ year of hands-on experience in GTM automation, growth engineering or a similar role.
• Must have built real GTM automations and used AI heavily within them, including several of the following:
• Email outreach, sequencing or follow-up automation
• SMS or messaging automation
• Lead/prospect list processing and enrichment
• Web scraping and automated research
• Structured data extraction from unstructured sources
• CRM or sales-pipeline automation
• API-based integrations between GTM systems
• Multi-channel outreach workflows
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn prospecting and sales workflows.
• Strong Python scripting skills.
• Hands‑on experience with FastAPI.
• Strong hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and SQLite, including schema design and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with web scraping and data enrichment.
• Ability to build scripts/tools that run reliably on macOS and Linux; Windows is optional.
• Experience building usable internal tools for non-technical teams.
• Basic hands‑on knowledge of servers, deployment, authentication, scheduling, logging and running workflows reliably in production.
• Strong ability to work with LLMs, APIs and automation workflows.
• Ability to independently discover APIs, evaluate data sources and choose the right technical approach.
• Comfortable taking a loosely defined sales problem and owning it end-to-end from idea to working automation.
• High agency and very high speed of execution — able to build, test and iterate quickly without detailed technical direction.
• Strong bias toward using AI heavily in both their own engineering workflow and the GTM systems they build.

Good to have

• Experience with calling/telephony integrations.
