Job summary

Fair Exports in India is seeking a skilled GST Executive / Assistant Manager to own end-to-end GST compliance, returns, refunds, and documentation.

This role requires strong knowledge of GST laws, accuracy in data handling, SAP/ERP experience, and advanced Excel skills to meet tight deadlines.

You will coordinate notices, audits, and maintain organized records across GST portals and related systems. Experience with filing GST Annual Returns and handling refunds is a plus.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of GST laws, return forms, refund mechanisms, and audits.
• Proficiency with SAP/ERP systems and advanced MS Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• High accuracy in data compilation, reconciliation, and meeting tight compliance timelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file regular GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) within timelines.
• Oversee GST Annual Returns (GSTR-9/9C) compilation and filing.
• Manage GST refunds from documentation to filing and tracking.
• Assist with GST notices, audits, and litigation data and responses.

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented GST Executive / Assistant Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will take ownership of end-to-end Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, return filings, refund processing, and documentation, ensuring complete accuracy and statutory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• GST Returns: Prepare and file regular GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and all other applicable monthly/quarterly returns within strict timelines.
• Annual Compliance: Oversee the compilation, reconciliation, and filing of GST Annual Returns (GSTR-9/9C).
• GST Refunds: Handle the complete lifecycle of GST refund applicationsfrom preparing required documentation and performing reconciliations to filing and tracking through processing.
• Notices, Audits & Litigation: Assist in compiling data, performing analysis, and preparing formal responses for GST notices, department audits, and litigation matters.
• Record Keeping & Systems: Maintain organized GST records, perform routine reconciliations, and work across the GST Portal, SAP/ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel functions.
