Job summary

TVS Motor Company in Hosur Plant invites a Group Leader - Painting with 5 to 10 years of experience to lead painting operations and drive PQCDMS targets. This role focuses on safety, production readiness, and continuous improvement through PDCA, daily reviews, and coordinating resources for painted parts.

You will supervise team leaders, implement SIT/CFT projects, and support new model variants with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Audit and improve 2S/JH safety.
• Audit workmen deployment and organise production resources.
• Review sequence plans for availability of painted parts.
• Conduct daily PDCA for quality and delivery, monitoring parameters within control limits.
• Conduct weekly audits to verify adherence to standards/SDCA.
• Take corrective actions for painting-related customer complaints and rework.
• Provide recommendations during EJO process at painting.
• Support PED for new model variants.
• Control non-conforming products.
• Raise Revex for improvement activities.
• Identify losses and make contingency plans.
• Review team leader cell performance measures.
• Review attendance efficiency of workmen.
• Identify and implement SIT/CFT projects related to policy, MPCP and QCC.

• Review counsel workmen on attendance efficiency
• Identification Implementation of SIT/CFT projects related to policy, MPCP facilitate QCC.
