Job summary

PI Industries Ltd in Udaipur is seeking a Group Leader - FD to lead a team of researchers in Formulation Development. You will ensure hands-on guidance and on-time delivery of projects, aligning with department plans.

The role requires deep expertise in Agro-Chemistry/Formulations, with 10–12 years post-PhD (hands-on) or 12–15 years post-MSc experience, and collaboration across teams while maintaining safety and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Ph.D./M.Sc./MTech in Physical/Analytical/ Agro-Chemistry with excellent academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Be hands-on and help team members firm up on recipes for potential implementation.
• Drive Innovation and New Product Development to suit market needs.
• Maintain timelines for delivery as per agreement on various projects.
• Review projects on a day to day basis - write a report.
• Manage people for optimized output in quantity and quality.
• Identify and optimize specific processes and oversee scale ups.
• Record and maintain all data – Review with Lead - FD.
• Prepare scale up/technology transfer documents.
• Liaise with manufacturing for scale up at the plant level.
• Participate in divisional meetings as and when required.

• The incumbent should be sufficiently knowledgeable in his field to aid the team to make deliveries as needed by the organization. T

• Guide the team to achieve the planned targets

• Get and Give support as and when required and requested

Education Qualification

Ph.D./M.Sc./MTech. in Physical/Analytical/ Agro- Chemistry from a reputed University / Institute with excellent academic credentials

Work Experience

• 10-12 years post Ph.D. in industry (Hands-on) Preferred.
• 12-15 years post MSc in industry (Hands on)
• Experience in Formulations (Hands on) and in Agrochemicals/Pharma a must
