Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Mumbai is seeking an experienced leader to take complete P&L ownership of the team and drive financial performance. You will oversee delivery of equity advice, trading ideas, and target achievement for the financial year.

Ideal candidates have 9+ years in financial markets with 2+ years in leadership, a background in derivatives, currency, and commodities, and strong MS Office skills. Graduation plus MBA Finance/CA/CFA/ICWA/NCFM/AMFI preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation in any discipline.
• MBA Finance or CA/CFA/ICWA/NCFM/AMFI preferred.
• 9+ years in Financial Markets and 2+ years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own complete P&L responsibility for the team/branch.
• Ensure targets and financial projections for the year are met.
• Initiate new business and ensure quality deliverables within timelines.
• Mentor and guide team members to increase revenue and hit targets.
• Ensure compliance, governance, and advisory certification programs are followed.

Job description

• The role would require complete P&L responsibility for the Team reporting in
• To make sure targets /goal are achieved as per projections for the financial year
• To take initiatives in new business as given by the organisation. To ensure quality deliverables within stipulated timelines
• To ensure all processes are followed keeping in mind the ethos of the organization. mentoring and guiding team members thereby increasing revenue and ensuring they achieve their assigned targets.

Key Deliverables:

1. Managing team and ensuring their Productivity is met
2. Maintenance of the P&L of the team/branch monthly
3. Timely delivery of customized equity advise to assigned PCG customers (trading and investment ideas) as per defined timelines
4. Pass on ground customer feedback to the Senior PCG advisor as and when reported
5. Keep check on the Advisory certification program for the advisors as per defined timelines
6. Compliance and surveillance to be checked on regular time intervals frequently

Role Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications: Graduation in any discipline, MBA Finance/ CA/ CFA/ ICWA / NCFM/AMFI
• Experience: 9+ Years in Financial Markets, 2+ Years in leadership role
• Domain Knowledge: Understanding of capital markets including Derivatives, Currency and Commodities
• I- T Skills: MS Office
