Job summary

Europa Locks in Pune, India seeks an experienced NPD Quality professional to lead quality planning across the product lifecycle, from concept through delivery. You will coordinate with design, manufacturing and suppliers, drive PFMEA and SPC, ensure ISO 9001:2016 compliance, and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve first-time-right quality.

The role requires 6–10 years in NPD quality and a BE/BTech or DME in Mechanical Engineering, with hands-on experience in sheet metal stamping, HPDC,

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–10 years of experience in new product development quality.
• BE/BTech or DME in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of sheet metal stamping, HPDC, assembly, plastic molding.
• Hands-on PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA experience.
• ISO 9001:2016 auditor; Six Sigma Yellow belt is a plus.
• Strong cross-functional teamwork and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily product life/torque/theft/SST test status.
• Analyze field failures and drive improvements.
• Use knowledge to build PFMEA.
• Plan process audits (FGWH, Dock, FAIR) as needed.
• Conduct SPC/MSA as per project requirements.

Roles Responsibility (Job Profile)

Responsibilities

• Involve in each project from grass root level right from concept preparation, proto testing, supplier development, product life testing, batch plan discipline delivery of finished goods to customer.
• Ensure product meet customer internal technical, quality requirement.
• Ensure to achieve product quality objective together with project team.
• Monitors the defined agreed objective, reports the project status to superior.
• Monitor day to day project progress status and ensure first time right quality.
• Raised lesson learn opportunity ensure that best practice from previous projects are used.
• Participate in FMEA review. Share the lesson learned from similar project.
• Ensure customer requirements are met throughout the whole project.
• Ensure product verification, validation regulation.
• Escalate for NPD process noncompliance issue take follow-up to their closure.
• Validate daily product life/torque/theft/SST test status inform to team for any deviation.
• Field failure customer complaint analysis improvement.
• Use of product process knowledge to build PFMEA.
• Plan Process audit, FGWH Audit, Dock Audit, FAIR approval as per project need.
• Responsible to conduct SPC MSA as per project requirement.

Competency (Candidate Profile)

• Should have minimum 6 -10 years of experience in NPD quality.
• Qualification: B.E / B. Tech / DME in Mechanical Engineering
• Through knowledge on various manufacturing process like sheet metal stamping, High pressure die casting, Assembly process, Plastic molding Various surface finishing process.
• Handover experience on PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA
• ISO 9001 :2016 auditor Six Sigma Yellow belt certification will be advantage.
• Excellent CFT coordination skill, ability to resolve CFT conflict on time.
