Role Description

The Ground Instructor will deliver classroom-based instruction on aviation theory, regulations, aircraft systems, navigation, meteorology, and safety procedures to aspiring pilots. Responsibilities include planning and structuring lessons, preparing training materials, conducting assessments, and providing constructive feedback to support student learning and exam readiness. The role involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of aviation standards, coordinating with flight instructors to align ground and flight training, and contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement of training programs. The Ground Instructor will also mentor students, support their professional development, and uphold academy policies and safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of aviation theory, regulations, navigation, meteorology, and aircraft systems, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience in classroom teaching or aviation instruction, including lesson planning, training delivery, and student assessment.
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a student-centered approach and commitment to inclusive learning.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple batches, maintain training records, and meet academic schedules.
• Familiarity with modern training tools, e-learning platforms, and basic computer skills (MS Office, digital presentations).
• Relevant aviation qualifications such as CPL/ATPL theory completion, Flight Instructor or Ground Instructor ratings, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Previous experience in flight training organizations or aviation academies is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively with training and operations teams and maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity.
