Job summary

Shashwath Solution is seeking a detail-oriented DTP Operator to create high-quality layouts for print and digital media using desktop publishing software.

You will work with designers and marketing teams to ensure output meets brand guidelines, prepare print-ready files, and manage file organization. Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or QuarkXPress and a keen eye for typography and color are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DTP Operator or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with desktop publishing tools: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, MS Office.
• Strong eye for detail in layout, typography, and color.

Responsibilities

• Design and format documents, catalogs, advertisements, flyers, newsletters, reports, and other print or digital materials.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, editors, and marketing teams to meet brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Input text and images into templates using software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or QuarkXPress.
• Ensure accuracy in formatting, alignment, spacing, color correction, and file resolution.
• Make corrections and revisions based on client or team feedback.
• Prepare files for final output (print-ready PDFs, digital formats, etc.).
• Maintain and organize digital file systems and backups.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and meet production standards.
• Collaborate with print vendors or in-house printing departments to ensure file compatibility.
