Graduate ITP in Pune, India at Smith & Nephew plc will be responsible for delivering efficient finance transactional processes and controls from a GBS centre, aligning with MAPs and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

Key tasks include processing invoices, posting transactions, vendor documentation, AP roll-forward, reconciliations, and supporting process standardisation. Fresh graduates or up to 1 year experience are encouraged to apply; SAP knowledge is an advantage.

• Freshers or Experienced (0 - 1 year) in accounting.
• Good English communications skills written and verbal & highly proactive in approach.
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts. ERP knowledge like SAP will be an added advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver and process finance transactional activities from a GBS centre.
• Process invoices and post business transactions; verify financial data.
• Receipt and verification of Vendor invoices and related documents (POs, contracts, approvals).
• Perform AP roll-forward, indexing, batching supplier invoices, and vendor reconciliations.
• Review invoices for proper documentation and approval; audit expense reports.

A Graduate ITP will be responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient finance transactional processes and controls from a GBS centre as described in the S&N Finance Accounts Payable (AP) taxonomy and in line with the Group Finance Manual, Minimum Acceptable Practices (MAPs) and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

What will you be doing?

• In this role, you will be responsible for different activities related to accounts payable, which includes: Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and providing other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization.
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.
• Receipt and Verification of Vendor (AP) invoices and documentation such as Purchase Orders, Contracts/Agreements, Proper Approvals, etc.
• Performs routine accounting activities, including but not limited to the following: accurately reviewing, Performing AP Roll-forward on daily basis within timelines. indexing and batching supplier invoices, vendor reconciliations.
• Review all invoices for proper documentation and approval.
• Auditing and approving Expense reports submitted by the employees.
• Ad-hoc activities related to AP. Follows documentation standards for all deliverables and all other duties as assigned and as required.
• Minimising reliance on local finance and business teams
• Drives process standardisation and flags exceptions for review and approval.
• Proactively identifies areas of opportunity to streamline processes and improve customer service.

What will you need to be Successful?

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA
• Freshers or Experienced (0 - 1 year) in accounting

• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts. ERP knowledge like SAP, will be an added advantage.
