Job summary

Sree Subhiksha Housing and Enterprises Pvt Ltd is seeking a Civil site trainee to assist in field execution and reporting. The role requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.E. Civil and freshers with up-to 1 year of construction exposure.

Applicants should have Autocad knowledge and strong MS Excel skills, and demonstrate motivation, confidence, and willingness to learn on-site at our Chennai-area projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist site execution, monitor labour productivity and work schedule.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager for follow-up on works.
• Daily reporting of site progress to the Project Manager.
• Maintain records of material requirements, estimation and bar bending schedules.
• Support Site Engineer in preparation of weekly labour bills as per work orders.
• Help ensure timely attendance and smooth functioning of sub-contractors and labour.
• Maintain updated site documents (stock registers, drawings, material receipts).
• Check quantity and quality of materials delivered by suppliers.
• Enforce personal and material safety at the site.
• Reconcile materials and manage tools at the site.

Typical day at the site:

The responsibilities associated with this job include,

• Helpingoverall site execution, labour productivity and work schedule
• Following up withthe works as per specific requirements and instructions from the Project Manager
• Daily reporting of site work progress and informing the Project manager about any eventsat the site
• Maintining records ofmaterial requirement, estimation and bar bending schedules
• Helping the Site engineer in reparation of weekly labour bills according to the workorders
• Helping to achieveon time attendance, smooth functioning and working of all sub-contractors and labors at the site
• Maintaining updated site documents (stock register's, working drawings, material delivery receipts)as required
• Physically checking the quantity and ensuring the quality of materials delivered at site by the suppliers
• Enforcing personal and material safety at the work site
• Reconciliation of materials and control of tools, materials and equiments withing the site

Location:

This job majorly involves field/site work. It is mandatory to be at our project site at all times of execution. You will have to visit main office every day for reporting of work progress.

The project sites are likely to be in Adyar, T.Nagar, Choolaimedu, Arumbakkam, Urapakkam (GST Road), & Sholinganallur.

Having your own two wheeler and valid driving license required is strongly recommended.
