Job summary

Growth For Impact in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to help design and develop mechanical systems for our e-pump and e-pack products. You will contribute to packaging, thermal, and electro‑mechanical assemblies from concept through prototype validation.

The role emphasizes CAD mastery (SolidWorks preferred), material selection, and cost-aware packaging, with opportunities to document design decisions, run tests, and iterate toward production stability.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• EV domain exposure is a bonus, but not mandatory.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering: structural design, thermal systems, and electro‑mechanical packaging.
• Knowledge of metals, plastics, composites, elastomers and their applications.
• Hands‑on experience with mechanical assembly and packaging optimisation for cost, performance, and manufacturability.
• Excellent CAD skills; SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; willingness to learn and tackle real‑world challenges.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to taking designs from concept through prototyping, validation, and production stabilisation.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate components, subsystems and full product performance.
• Document the development cycle from concept to production stabilisation, including FMEA, DFX, DVP, inspection plans and related docs.

• – Document the product development cycle from concept to production stabilisation, including FMEA, DFX, DVP, inspection plans, and other relevant engineering documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

• – 0–2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• – Experience or exposure to the EV domain is a bonus, but not mandatory.
• – Robust fundamentals in mechanical engineering, including structural design, thermal systems, and electro‑mechanical packaging.
